The Buffalo Bills are a National Football League (NFL) franchise that participates in the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) East division. The Bills were founded as an American Football League (AFL) team in 1960 and have subsequently risen to a club worth approximately 2.05 billion dollars by 2020.
The Bills play their home games at New Era Field in Orchard Park, New York, which is located in the Buffalo–Niagara Falls metropolitan region. The squad won two straight American Football League championships in 1964 and 1965, but the club has failed to win another league championship after that period. They are the first NFL team to have lost four straight Super Bowls (1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993).
Ralph Wilson owned the Bills from their creation in 1960 until his passing in 2014. The squad is presently owned by billionaire Terrence Pegula.
